Did You Know?
Hillsboro High School students can earn college credit at no cost to them or their families. Hillsboro offers the Early College Credit and Start College Now program. These offerings allow students to take courses that transfer to UW-System institutions, tribally controlled colleges, private nonprofit institutions of higher education, and Wisconsin Technical Colleges.
Funding Breakdown
For dual-credit courses, Hillsboro School District pays 75% of the tuition, and the state covers the remaining 25%. Our district pays for ECCP programs from our Fund 10 General Budget.
Referendum Impact
Operational referendums allow our district to fund programs and offerings like ECCP and Start College Now. The Class of 2026 graduated with 379.25 college credits.
