On Tuesday, October 29th, MS/HS Art students had the privilege of learning from local artist, Charna Schwartz.
Ms. Schwartz, an already familiar face to some as a substitute teacher at our school, generously shared her expertise with middle and high school students, explaining the intricacies of crafting ceramic pieces on the wheel.
The demonstration included the real-time crafting of vases, cylinders, and bowls on the potter's wheel while students watched on and asked questions. Following the demonstration, high school Art Club members engaged in a fall-themed pumpkin painting activity.
The district would like to extend our sincere thanks to artist Charna Schwartz for sharing her talent and passion with our students. To learn more about her work, please visit her website: https://www.charnapottery.com.
