John "Aspen" Nusse, a 2022 graduate of Hillsboro High School, is making a positive impact on the lives of others through a career as a direct care worker at Aveanna Health.
Driven by a desire to help others, Aspen pursued CNA training at Western Technical College in La Crosse, sharing, "I took CNA classes at Western Technical College. I wanted to be in this position. I love meeting new people and being able to care for them."
Reflecting on their time at Hillsboro High School, Aspen acknowledges the crucial role their education played in their current success. "Hillsboro High School prepared me for my career by giving me the best education possible. I couldn't have done this without my amazing teachers.
