Lisa Nelson, a 1994 graduate of Hillsboro High School, has carved a successful career as a freelance graphic designer and virtual assistant. With a BA in Graphic Design from UW-Stout, Lisa provides creative solutions for businesses of all sizes, specializing in logo design, print, packaging, web design, vehicle graphics, and digital content creation.
Beyond her design career, Lisa is a published author, contributing to a collaborative book that allowed her to express her creativity in a new way. She also connected with a broad audience through a radio show, sharing inspiring stories and engaging in meaningful conversations.
Lisa credits her time at Hillsboro High School for instilling the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. "Playing sports and being a team player at HHS taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of collaboration—skills that have been invaluable in my career," Lisa reflects. "Through school projects, music, art, and creative assignments, I discovered my love for storytelling, design, and media, which ultimately guided me toward my career path."
