#BookWormWednesday returns and today we will be hearing from Judith!
Favorite Book: Crazy House
Author: James Patterson
Similar Books: Hunger Games, Trust No One, and The Cellar
“I recommend this book because it grabs your attention from the beginning! This is a suspense/thriller about two twin sisters trying to survive the crazy house together.
People who like suspense thrillers and science fiction will probably like this book.
I chose to take my selfie in my room because it is very quiet and comfortable and it’s a great place to read!”
Thank you for sharing Judith! We want your input - have you read this book?! #HSDGoTigers

#BookWormWednesday returns and today we will be hearing from Paige!
Favorite Book: Every Last Word
Author: Tamara Ireland Stone
Similar Book: All the Bright Places
"I recommend this book because I related to the main character and her struggles in high school. This book also opened my eyes to how a good friend can make all the difference, and I’d like to share that.
Those who enjoy reading books about high school struggles will probably like this book.
The location of my selfie was my black fuzzy chair. I chose this location because this is the spot that I enjoy reading. It’s super comfortable and it’s right next
to where I keep my candles, so it smells great!"
Thank you for sharing Paige! We want your input - have you read this book?! #HSDGoTigers

Friday, November 16th, the 4K #HSDGoTIgers were invited to come into school to Play With the Scarecrows!
They enjoyed a variety of scarecrow themed activities to show off their 4K skills to their parents. They made crafts, looked for scarecrows, colored some scarecrows and many other things!
What a fun way to spend the morning! Mrs. Kraska and Mrs. Katie couldn't make it, so these two scarecrows showed up! #GettingCreative

Six students in Ms. Madden's Creative Writing class and three members of the Creative Writing Club attended the UW-Whitewater Creative Writing Festival!
They had the opportunity to be exposed to the writing of their peers in high schools across the Midwest and a chance to hear their work discussed and evaluated by professional writers in a college setting. #HSDGoTigers
