HHS music students will be providing concessions during Trunk-or-Treat TONIGHT from 5:30 -7:30 pm to help with costs for their upcoming Nashville trip.

Trunk-or-Treat:
Who: An event sponsored by the Burr Wesleyan Church.
What: During this event, adult members of the Burr Wesleyan Church decorate the trunks of their vehicles in Halloween-themed decor and pass out candy or other goodies to the children in their community.
When: October 31st, 6:00-7:30.
Why: A safer, less -spooky alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
Where: Hillsboro High School Parking Lot.
The district has a new community aluminum can recycling bin!
The aluminum can recycling bin has been moved from the elementary to the south edge of the high school parking lot.
All proceeds collected from the cans benefit Hillsboro Elementary School.

Hillsboro Sports Update: Hillsboro volleyball will host Royall on Thursday, October 20. No passes will be accepted at regional volleyball games. Adult and student tickets are $6 and children 6 and under are $1. Game will begin at 7:00 PM.
Letter Jackets are available to order now through October 28. The order link was sent to families via email and is also available in the Infinite Campus parent portal.

Hillsboro Tigers HS Football play Wauzeka-Steuben/Seneca in Seneca tonight.
Three Hillsboro students traveled to Western Technical College to attend the annual Public Safety Heroes Event on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 9:00am – 11:30am.
This event allows students a chance to learn more about the Paramedic, Fire Protection and Law Enforcement programs through hands-on activities with current faculty and students.
